GRINDOLOGY: Good to Grill

Isn't it funny how sometimes you just don't know where to eat, even though Hawaii has tons of great restaurants? If you're like me, I know there are all these places that I want to try, but I can never remember them when I'm deciding where to go.

I can't remember if it was appagom or ommagom, but one of them decided that we try somewhere in the Avenue Shops at Safeway Center complex in Kapahulu. We decided to order food from Good to Grill, which turned out to be an excellent choice.

I thought it was pretty cool how you can watch them grilling the food.

You can even see the wood that they use stored under the counter.

ommagom and I ordered the misoyaki chicken ($7.99) with red potato salad. This combination was definitely a winner. And, the portions are large — I had to ask for a takeout box.

This was a while ago. Guarantee appagom will be around, so he can tell you what he ordered because I forgot. That's what I get for not writing things down. Teriyaki rib eye steak ($17.99)?

Special thanks to kent for helping me with the pictures. Look for his name, Kent Nishimura, in the photo bylines in the print and online editions of The Honolulu Advertiser because he's one the interns this summer.
