It’s Sunday morning… or is it still Saturday night? Maybe you’re looking for something sweet and carby to ease your hangover, or maybe you just want to share comfort food with friends. We always wondered where to go to satisfy a pancake fix, so we drove around Oahu, and here’s what made our Top 10…

Good to Grill Chocolate Lover's Pancake

One of the newest players on the scene, Good To Grill started breakfast at the end of October. Its ample breakfast menu, of course, includes pancakes.

If you love chocolate, this one is for you. Chef Almar developed a chocolate pancake batter, topped with chocolate syrup, sliced bananas, strawberries and whipped cream. Amazingly, it’s not super sweet, but we’re sure there’s enough sugar in there to jump start your day. ($7.99)

Good to Grill Bananas Foster Pancake

Good to Grill has created a Bananas Foster waffle and pancake, but for the sake of this gallery, we ate the pancakes ($7.99) — made fresh daily with banana puree, brown sugar and orange juice/zest in the batter. The short stack is drizzled with creme Anglais and topped with cinnamon and sliced bananas, giving you a taste of New Orleans. It looks almost too sweet, but it's actually not; it’s got just enough flavor to jazz up your morning coffee!
